Trike recumbents are attractive, as apposed to two wheel recumbent, because the 2w ones, are such a hassle to get going, from a stop. But trikes are harder to store, transport, and not great for narrower trails. Having an e-version (with throttle) of 2 wheel recumbent, would make them much easier to use. Because you could get rolling/stable, with squeezing the throttle, before lifting up your feet.

Is it hard to get use to the tank steering?

I'm a senior so it must be a trike for me. I really like the TRIOT trike. Super comfortable and of a very high quality. Will be test riding one in March. Can't wait. Check them out.

I have 2 bacchetta's myself. An A26/26 converted to 700c, and an agio. I prefer the agio long wheelbase one myself.

Now THIS is what they need to put those silly little "motorized bicycle" engines onto! With a little bubble fairing and shorter wheels for a lower center of gravity - this could be one fantastic track vehicle that could go up against the PROPER mini-bikes & mopeds etc, something the lil' BMX-based "motorized bicycle" will never be up to the task - but the RECUMBENT has the lesser frontal area, the lower C-of-G, the comfortable position for long-distance highway travel - And just picture it with the little fiberglass bubbles from SIDE-CAR racing! DAMN that would be an awesome lil' racer. I mean, so WHAT if the Tour D'France & Giro D'Italia people of the 1950's BANNED bikes like this - it was only 'cause they're too COMPETITIVE! So let's resurrect 'em! Along with the discontinued 50cc & 125cc Grand-Prix motorcycle classes AND the "Dustbin" fairings - put 'em all together in one big pot and stir! What awesome stuff this might create - lil' 50cc-125cc-250cc class miniature PERAVES MONOTRACER style bikes, but less about the enclosed cabin for business-wear and more about aerodynamics & light weight......

Bikes= 2 wheels, Trikes=3 wheels

Made it to a new bike destination yesterday, on our road bikes, CARLTON PRESERVE! We met Steve Christian at the Boldygo trailhead. He introduced us to the area and I'll be riding your trails and helping out in the future! Thanks Steve & SCORR. I'l be enjoying it

Which trike did you decide on? Or was it a recumbent bike?

It does not look comfortable that you are leaning back, yet having to pull your head forward. I have a bad neck and I am not sure I could do that. Maybe an adjustable seat would work for me. I have seen a few models with that.

Have been riding a two-wheeler Nazca Explorer since 2003. Recumbent bike of The Year 2003 and 2004. It's not as easy as it looks. But BIG fun! With 27 gears, high-powered brakes and shock-absorbers front and aft, it's also extremely comfortable. And I'm 68 years of age, hihi. Greetz from NL.

I just bought a QX100 front wheel drive recumbent. It's not as hard to ride as I thought it might be. Was out riding and chatted with an acquaintance who wanted to try it. I was reluctant, but he was riding down the street right away. The hill climbing ability of Cruzbike is great, because the upper body can assist climbing.

A couple responses to negative comments. As for Oldsmare being better ,maybe so to some people maybe not to others but its all good because everyone has their own preferences. The one that got me is the one saying these guys cant race .... obviously they are racing and look to me like they are racing and having fun ... I suppose your making A living off this and sitting right on top of the elite point standings ,If you are that guy sad to see your representing bmx in that way but if your not that guy im sure the elite could show you a thing or 2. Fun is what this is all about ,cocky attitudes ,lame comments to riders who might not be as good as you ,if your even good " some guys just like to talk ya know ?" are not cool. If I ran A team I wouldnt consider people with them attitudes. I know some managers do anyway but id take the last place respectful guy to represent my team over the kid who makes mains with the giant ego
